Mel meet Johannes in the Middle East whilst he was studying Arabic and she was working with Syrian refugees. They meet through mutual friends and were friends for 2x years before they were  finally brave enough to tell each other how they felt. Johannes then wanted to propose  but Mel wasn't so sure. The first proposal was well planned with the ring and everything but the rest of the story didn't go so well. Mel felt it was abit to soon. Johannes was well confident he had found his girl - he told Mel he would simply just wait for her and he was shaken at all by her first answer. This amazed Mel. The second proposal was very unplanned - There was a picnic this time, and the subject came up. Mel told Johannes she thought she was ready now - So one one knee Johannes asked Mel to marry him, she said yes. Then they went shopping together for a ring - Mel thought choosing her ring with her man was a really nice touch.

The general theme for the wedding day was country, rustic, lace, with pasta colour accents. Mel didn't want the wedding to be to formal so they decided against having a bridal table and chose to be seating with their guests.

Mel + Johannes are true world adventurers - This is Johannes favourite thing about Mel.

Mel + Johannes we wish you all the very best with your future,  where ever your adventures take you next.
